Hello! and welcome to my blog.
I'm Darlene, Born in Brooklyn, New York. My parents are both Puerto Ricans; even though they were from the Island from Mayaguez and Dorado, mom did not speak Spanish fluently. My mom grew up in New York, so English was her primary language.
I left New York at the age of eight and returned to the Big Apple in 2001. I work for the City of New York, and I am five years from retirement.
I have three beautiful children plus my baby brother that I consider my child. I am also the grandmother of eight beautiful grandchildren that I love very much.
